What will my child learn?

No matter how old your child is, enrolling them at OPA Academy will have lots of benefits. Naturally, children will learn to develop their singing, dancing and acting skills; but more than that, they will develop their confidence and learn how to work collaboratively with their peers.

We take out the ‘competition’ element for children, so no matter how skilled they are, no matter how confident they are, they will get the same experience and opportunities as the other children.

The main aim is for children to love every second of their Performing Arts training. Whether they decide to pursue a career in the arts in the future or not, the skills they learn at OPA will stand them in good stead for the rest of their lives.

Why OPA?

Because we are not a franchise, we have complete artistic control over our school. This means, we can tailor sessions to children’s interests and skills and are able to put on shows, go on trips and well as perform within the community at special events.

All teachers are DBS checked and are industry professionals so are well positioned to teach your child the disciplines of singing, dancing and acting.

In addition, we are able to keep our prices competitive. Our hourly rate is cheaper than that of other Performing Arts Schools, whilst providing superb quality teaching and learning experiences.

How many children are in each class?

Classes are capped at 25 pupils, but in reality they are much smaller. For the OPA Minis, we have a Performing Arts Assistant as well as the main teacher, so children are well supervised and supported.

What is the registration fee for?

The one-off registration fee of £25 goes towards enrolling your child and completing the necessary admin required. This is a one-off fee payable at the point of registration.
